'S' and 'N' symbolsInformation for all candidates for programmes carried out in Polish and in foreign languages.Enrolment

After the announcement of ranking lists, a candidate for doctoral programme receives an online notification about being admitted. This means that the board has decided to allow the candidate to enrol for studies.

Being notified in the OAS account about admittance does not mean a candidate is automatically enrolled to the programme. Just as in case of first- or second-cycle programmes, candidates have to enrol within a given deadline. Dates for enrolment are scheduled in a Rector's decree several months ahead.

The address for enrolment as well as opening hours of the students' office can be found in the registration card in your OAS account as soon as you are admitted.

To enrol, the candidate should come in person to the appropriate office, and they should have all the required documents with them: three photographs (according to the guidelines for issuing identity cards), a photocopy of both sides of candidate's identity card or passport, original copies of all documents sent upon registration as photocopies. If a candidate wants to apply for a scholarship, they should also have appropriate application forms. Additional documents are required from candidates who do not hold Polish citizenship.

List of documents required upon enrolment is available in the study card at www.erk.uj.edu.pl in the "required documents" tab.

The most important act the doctoral student performs during enrolment is signing the vow and submitting scholarship applications—and in case of part-time programmes, also signing the agreement on terms of payment for a higher education programme. Scholarship and scholarship increase forms, as well as the pattern for the agreement on terms of payment for higher education programme, are all available in the "Downloads" section (in Polish only).

Undertaking studies without enrolment is not possible.

If you are unable to enrol in person, an appointed representative may do this in your name. More information about representation and power of attorney may be found here. Foreigners applying for admission on the basis of rules other than applicable to Polish nationals should contact the Department of Admissions in case of any problems with enrolling in person: rekrutacja@uj.edu.pl.
